Jordan’s foreign ministry has announced that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will hear calls for a quick Gaza truce during his meeting with Middle East foreign ministers.

The ministers will emphasize the Arab stance calling for an immediate ceasefire, humanitarian aid, and ways to end the dangerous deterioration that threatens the security of the region.

Lebanon’s temporary Prime Minister Najib Mikati met with Blinken in Amman, emphasizing the need for a Gaza truce and an end to Israeli assault in southern Lebanon.

King Abdullah has called for an immediate Gaza ceasefire to protect people and warned Israel’s military effort would fail.
